Speakeasy

Speakeasy was established as a charity over 26 years ago. It works from within a safe, supportive environment, to develop skills, confidence and opportunities for people with aphasia. Members direct the work of Speakeasy towards providing purposeful and enjoyable activities which enable them to re-engage with their communities. All staff, including speech and language therapists and volunteers, have had training to support people to communicate in whatever way possible. Based in Bury, Speakeasy works with people who have aphasia and their carers across North West England.
